Premium Server Settings – Change Premium Server Settings

Premium Server Settings allows you to enable or disable the premium server easily, without having to change the server startup parameters and bypass the premium verification.

If you enable the premium server, you can bypass the check for players with authorization, thus allowing access even to players who otherwise would not be able to access the server, due to the limit of the Steam account value imposed by Rust.

1. Enable Premium server – Enable the server in Premium mode.
2. Allow bypass premium check by permission – If enabled, allows bypassing premium control for users who have permission.
3. Debug Mode. Print debug information in console – Print Debug information to the console.

PERMISSIONS

• premiumserversettings.bypass.premium_check – Players with this permission, bypass the premium control and will be able to access the server without premium verification.

IMPORTANT

The plugin is 100% functional but should be used with caution.

Its main purpose is to allow granular control over who can access the server, in cases where you are sure that a certain account cannot access even if the account is a legitimate account and not a throwaway account.

There have been several cases of legitimate accounts being blocked from accessing the server simply because they did not make enough purchases.

Make sure you do a thorough and careful check first on the steam account you want to enable server access to, you need to be 100% sure it is a legitimate account!

It is currently unclear whether Facepunch allows you to bypass premium control for certain accounts without incurring any penalties, so use the plugin with caution and make sure you only allow accounts that you are 100% sure are legitimate.
